Recipe of mini strawberry roses to decorate cupcakes

A mini rose with a strawberry! Why not? Not only are they very easy to make, but they are perfect for finishing your cupcakes and other desserts.
Mini roses made with strawberries are a fun and delicious addition to any dessert. If you already thought about adding strawberries to a fruit plate, cake or cupcakes, why not make them look beautiful too?

If I have not convinced you, I tell you something else you can do with these mini roses. You can serve them covered with chocolate, and they are much better than simple strawberries to retain the chocolate between their 'petals'. What are you waiting for?

You will need to
Large and ripe strawberries with their leaves.
Wooden sticks.
Sharp knife.
Instructions
Wash and dry the strawberries. Choose the largest and most mature, but still firm.
Insert the stick in the base of the strawberry (where the leaves are). The petals will be made from the base to the tip of the strawberry.
With the knife cut the first petal. Hold the knife at an angle of approximately 45 degrees. Be careful not to completely cut the petal so that it stays glued to the strawberry. With the help of the knife itself, bend the tip of the petal outwards.
Repeat at the same level on the other three sides until you have four petals at the base.
The next line of petals should be staggered with respect to the first. Repeat the procedure.
To finish, make the last cut that will be on the tip of the strawberry. You can create as many rows of petals as you want, but the thinner, the more fragile they will be.
Ready!
