Behind these lovely cupcakes hides Alma, a student living in Frankfurt who is finishing his doctoral thesis. As she says, she feels a strange obsession with these little sweets and go in search of the perfect cupcake in her spare time.

One of her recipes caught our eye for its simple but elegant presentation: using a mold to create these mini bars that combined with chocolate cupcake and black chocolate buttercream assures that she is not very far from achieving her goal of perfect cupcake.
